Megan K. Crosbie practices in the area of civil litigation, including plaintiff’s catastrophic injury, wrongful death, products liability, UIM/UM and wrongful termination. She regularly appears in California federal and state courts and has experience in all stages of civil litigation including motion practice, jury trials and arbitrations.
Ms. Crosbie was admitted to the California State Bar and the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of California in 2012. She received her B.S. Degree from California Polytechnic State, San Luis Obispo in 2009. She received her J.D. Degree from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2012.
While attending Santa Clara University, she clerked for the Honorable Judge Hyman of the Santa Clara Superior Court and interned at several Bay Area law firms. She served as President of the Labor and Employment Law Society, as Women & Law Benefit Chair, and as a member of the Honors Moot Court Team and Computer & High Tech Law Journal. She was also the recipient of the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for Interviewing & Counseling and the Law Faculty Scholarship.
Professional and Community Activities
Ms. Crosbie was elected as President of the Fresno County Young Lawyers Association in 2017 and served as a board member for many years. She is active in the Fresno County Young Lawyers Association, Fresno County Women Lawyers, Tulare and Kings County Bar Associations, Consumer Attorneys of California, Central California Trial Lawyers Association and the Federal Bar Association. She also volunteers as an attorney advocate for domestic violence victims through Project First Step.
Ms. Crosbie participates in many community service activities, focused on serving women and children, as a member of PINC (Philanthropy Inspired by the Needs of our Community). Additionally, she competes regularly in area speech competitions as a member of the Fresno City Toastmasters club. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her two boys and participating in all forms of fitness including cycling, running, hiking, pilates and more.
